Welcome from Ms Caroline Drumm, Head of Primary
Regent's International School is supportive and welcoming and is built around strong community values. This enables your child to make a very pleasing start to their education.
The time that children spend in school should be happy, productive and provide strong foundations for the future. At Regent’s International School we believe in developing the whole child so that pupils can rise to different challenges and build a sense of achievement. Children learn best when they are secure, happy and stretched, which is why we provide the inspiration and high expectations for children to fulfill their potential.
We want to enrich pupils’ experiences and engage them fully in their learning. In order to do this, we want children to understand what it means to be a good learner. We want to give them the confidence and skills to learn both in class and independently. This year we will be providing a broad and interesting curriculum for your children but will also be focusing on developing mastery and depth. Children will be given the opportunities to learn new skills and to apply them to a range of contexts so that they become proficient. Children who not only know what to learn, but know how to learn, become independent, resilient and intrinsically motivated.
Our excellent facilities, high quality teaching and warm welcome at Regent’s International School primary department set excellent standards and will ensure that your child will achieve now but also build firm foundations for their future academic, social and emotional success.
